Almost one year after losing his right index finger and severely damaging the rest of his right hand in a July 4 fireworks accident, New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is trying to help others avoid the same mistake.In a public service announcement that debuted Thursday on Good Morning America, Pierre-Paul briefly recounted what went through his mind when a firework went off in his hand and he had to be rushed to the hospital.
