Flow meters are generally used to measure the flow rate of liquids and gases that are moving out through the pipe. There are various types of flow meters used in various industries. Turbine flow meters and vortex flow meters.
TURBINE FLOW METERS
Turbine flow meters are generally used for the measurement of natural gas and liquid flow. There are turbine blades present on the turbine flow meters. So when the liquid or fluid flows through the blades it makes the blades to impart a force that sets the rotor in motion. So the steady rotational speed is reached Air Max 97 Scontate , then speed becomes proportional to the fluid velocity. The accuracy of flow meters is largely depending upon the flow and velocity of the fluid flowing through it. So when fluid flows fast then the rotational speed also gets increased. Flow transmitter and sensing systems are available to sense flow in both forward as well as in reverse directions.

VORTEX METERS Vortex meters are generally used in industries where flow measurements are used and moving fluids creating a problem. It generally works under the vortex shedding principle. Vortex shedding is based on the principle that it is used to detect vortexes with the help of the flowing medium that passes through a bluff body. So by this action, flow velocity which is used for the volumetric flow can be determined. Vortex flow meters are generally used to convert the pressure signals into electrical signals so that signal conditioner collects the signals based upon the vortexes and generates the output signal corresponding to the change in the pressure variations.
PRINCIPLE : There are two alternative vortexes present on either side of the bluff body, called the von Karman vortex. When the medium flows through the axis at a certain speed then these alternative vortexes will come outside on the bluff body. So there is pressure pulsation on both sides thus alternating stress is the use of piezoelectric plate signal is sent to the totalizer after it gets passed through the amplifier.
